China News Service, March 2 -- According to Reuters, Amazon's cloud computing division AWS said on the 1st local time that its data center in the United Arab Emirates was "hit" and caught fire.

AWS stated that on the same day, an object "hit" one of the availability zones in the data center, causing sparks and a fire. The fire department cut off the power supply to the facility during firefighting. It will take several hours for the affected availability zone to restore connectivity, while other availability zones in the United Arab Emirates are operating normally.

On February 28, Israel and the United States suddenly launched military strikes against Iran, and Iran counterattacked subsequently. The security situation in the Middle East is evolving rapidly, and multiple locations in the United Arab Emirates have been attacked.
