Data shows that during the first year of operation, TikTok Shop's monthly average daily GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume) grew 102 times, exceeding TikTok's previously most optimistic growth expectations. As the platform scales up, TikTok Shop's product categories are also continuously enriched. According to the platform's statistics on the first-year operation data, a relatively clear hot-selling product structure has been formed in multiple key categories.
In the fashion category, women's long pants ranked first in sales, followed by women's T-shirts and tops, as well as casual dresses.
In the beauty category, female body splash (Bodysplash) ranked first, followed by male body splash and men's perfume.
In the home and decoration category, pots and frying pan sets became the best-selling products, followed by sheets and pillowcase sets, and thermos bottles ranked third.
In the electronics category, headphones became the product with the highest order volume, followed by computer protective films and protective cases, as well as smart watches.
