Amazon FBA to Charge Per Item for Each Order Starting from February 15th
Cross-border information2026-2-3

Amazon has announced that it will adjust the charging method for FBA warehouse inventory removal and disposal fees. The new rules will take effect on February 15, 2026. The core change is that the fees will be charged item by item when each product is processed, instead of deducting in a lump sum after the entire order is completed as before.

Amazon stated that the rates remain unchanged, and this move is just to enhance fee transparency. Sellers do not need to take any additional actions.

Some sellers have raised doubts about the new rules. They think that the decentralized deduction will increase the financial tracking burden. For example, when processing 100 items, 100 separate notifications will be received; other sellers speculate that itemized billing may be convenient for initiating disputes over individual fees.

Amazon recommends that sellers check the detailed deduction records through the "Payments - Transaction View" feature.
