[Important Reminder]
If the legal requirements of the four product safety laws are not met before December 25, 2025, regulated products will not comply with the new regulations and will not be able to be sold domestically in Japan.
Products that have been stored in the operation center before December 25 are not subject to the requirements of the four product safety laws.
If you have created an FBA purchase order before December 25 and the goods are in transit and planned to be stored, you can continue to operate.
If you meet the following conditions, you need to take immediate action:
● Sellers who sell products directly to Japanese consumers from overseas
● Overseas sellers using Amazon logistics services (FBA) to deliver affected products
● Sellers of the following categories of products:
★ Electrical products
★ Mobile device batteries
★ Toys for infants under 36 months
★ Baby beds
★ Laser pens
★ Cycling helmets
★ Urban gas appliances
★ Household natural gas stoves
★ Propane gas equipment, etc.
Note:
If you are posting products within Japan, or your products are not regulated by the "Four Product Safety Laws", no action is required.

Consumer Product Safety Law (PSC)
Categories involved:Baby toys, baby beds, laser pens, and cycling helmets, etc.
Compliance document requirements:Business declaration, certificate of conformity (CoC), approval certificate, inspection records
Compliance image requirements:PSC mark*, name of the declarant, registered inspection organization, usage precautions, target age, other information

Electrical Appliance Safety Law (PSE)
Categories involved:Electrical products, mobile device batteries, etc.
Compliance document requirements:Business declaration, certificate of conformity (CoC), approval certificate, inspection records
Compliance image requirements:PSE mark*, name of the supplier, name of the registered compliance assessment organization, rated voltage of the product

Gas Business Law (PSTG)
Categories involved:Urban gas appliances, etc.
