AMZ123 has learned that the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently issued an announcement to urgently recall Baby Jumper infant bouncers, Baby Swing infant swings, and 2-in-1 Baby Jumper & Swing products sold under the Taleco Gear brand, because the products may become unstable and pose fall, impact, and strangulation hazards, which could lead to injury or even death in serious cases.

About 41,100 units of the recalled products were sold in the United States, and another 150 units were sold in Canada.

The recall date is August 13, 2026. The recalled products include Baby Jumper, Baby Swing, 2-in-1 Jumper & Swing-A, and 2-in-1 Jumper & Swing-B, in colors including black, white, gray, pink, blue, and green.

The model number for Baby Jumper is jumper-01, the model number for Baby Swing is swing-1, and the model number for both 2-in-1 Jumper & Swing-A and 2-in-1 Jumper & Swing-B is jumper-01. Consumers can find the model number on the washing and care label sewn into the seat cover.

The CPSC noted that these infant bouncers, infant swings, and 2-in-1 products may become unstable, causing infants to fall or be struck. At the same time, the hanging restraint straps and seat openings on the products may also create a strangulation risk. In other words, the products not only pose a fall hazard due to structural instability, but some restraint structures themselves may also pose safety threats to infants.

To date, Taleco Gear has received at least 52 reports related to fall, impact, and strangulation hazards, including at least 32 reports involving injuries such as head bumps and nosebleeds. Although the injuries disclosed in existing reports mainly include head impacts and nosebleeds, the CPSC reminds consumers that these products pose a potential risk of serious injury or even death.

The recalled products were previously sold mainly through online channels. Data shows that they were sold on Amazon.com, Walmart.com, and TalecoGear.com from April 2021 to July 2026, at prices ranging from about $65 to $120. The importer is Taleco Gear, located in La Verne, California, and the products were made in China.

In response to the recall, the CPSC requires consumers to stop using the affected products immediately and contact Taleco Gear to request a full refund. Consumers need to destroy the recalled products according to the instructions provided by Taleco Gear, and submit photos of the destroyed parts before receiving a full refund.

Consumers can contact Taleco Gear by email, or visit the "RECALL INFORMATION" section on the recall page of the Taleco Gear brand website for relevant recall information.

Seller Home Review

Safety red lines for children's swing products are tightening again. The recall involves Amazon as a major channel, and sellers should immediately check whether their active listings match the affected SKUs and batches, and remove related inventory. It is recommended to simultaneously verify CPSC compliance documents and warning labels to avoid platform joint liability and heavy fines caused by safety incidents.
