AMZ123 has learned that the "2025 Brazil E-commerce Report" jointly released by Ernst & Young (EY) and Klavi shows that the market share of Asian e-commerce platforms represented by Shopee, Shein, AliExpress, Temu, and TikTok Shop in the Brazilian market has increased from 32% last year to 41.5%. This means that in Brazil, more than 4 out of every 10 consumers have shifted their online shopping budgets to Asian platforms. Meanwhile, the market share of traditional e-commerce giants such as Mercado Livre and Amazon has dropped from 67.5% to 58%.

The report points out that Asian platforms continue to expand their market advantage through low average order value and high-frequency consumption models. Their average order value is about 84 Brazilian reais (approximately 120 RMB), with a monthly purchase frequency of 0.97 times, showing high user activity overall, with an average of 12 active days per month, higher than the 8 days of traditional platforms.

Looking at the overall consumption scale, these platforms have driven the daily consumption of Brazil's e-commerce market to reach 356 million Brazilian reais (approximately 510 million RMB), and the annual sales scale is expected to exceed 130 billion Brazilian reais (approximately 186 billion RMB). The report believes that the "high-frequency low-price + content entertainment" operation model is reshaping the local e-commerce competition pattern and also prompting traditional platforms to accelerate the launch of flash sale services and strengthen logistics system construction to cope with market competition pressure.

Seller's Home Review

Asian platforms' market share in Brazil has surged to 41.5%, with an average order value of 84 Brazilian reais, but the monthly purchase frequency is less than once. Sellers should focus on optimizing repurchase rates and localized services to seize this wave of growth benefits.
