AMZ123 has learned that, according to foreign media reports, TikTok Shop will officially launch its "Sell Across EU" cross-border sales feature on October 19, 2026. UK sellers will then be able to sell to consumers in 12 European countries. At the same time, sellers in eight EU countries—Belgium, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, and Spain—will gradually gain the opportunity to sell to UK consumers.
The European markets opened to UK sellers include Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Czechia, Austria, Greece, Portugal, and Hungary. This means TikTok Shop is further expanding cross-border transactions in Europe, enabling local UK sellers to reach more European consumers at once.
Before the official launch, TikTok Shop will start an early pilot on September 21. Some eligible sellers will receive invitations and get early access to the feature. TikTok Shop said if a seller's store qualifies, they will receive a follow-up notice with specific eligibility requirements and activation steps.
For UK sellers, access to European markets is not granted simply by applying. TikTok Shop will assess sellers in real time based on their current account status and business performance.
First, sellers must already be active local sellers on TikTok Shop UK. Second, accounts must remain in good standing, not appear on a high-risk watchlist, and not be in a high-risk probation period. At the same time, stores must have been active and generated sales in the last 30 days; long-dormant accounts cannot participate in this expansion. In addition, existing accounts must not have large outstanding negative balances.
These conditions will be checked automatically by TikTok Shop's system. If sellers meet the requirements, the option to expand to the EU market will appear in their backend. However, not all products can be listed directly for cross-border sales. Some approved product categories are still restricted in TikTok Shop EU markets, or require additional product attribute information and relevant compliance documents.
Sellers preparing to enter the European market also need to prepare in advance for logistics, returns, payments, and local regulatory requirements.
This expansion is not TikTok Shop's first move into Europe. In recent years, TikTok Shop has continued to accelerate its European market layout. In mid-June this year, the platform entered Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Poland. With the launch of "Sell Across Europe," TikTok Shop is moving further toward a pan-European market, allowing sellers to reach consumers in 12 European countries while also making it easier to localize product descriptions.
However, when EU sellers sell to UK consumers, the only logistics option currently available is "Ship by Seller," meaning sellers arrange delivery themselves.
TikTok Shop made it clear that sellers need to choose their own courier company, pay shipping costs, and handle any issues during delivery. At the same time, EU sellers participating in cross-border sales to the UK must also meet corresponding requirements, including already operating TikTok Shop in an eligible EU market, having good account status, recent sales records, and no large outstanding negative balances.

TikTok Shop's European market is further opening up. Sellers can use the "Sell Across EU" feature to expand their business to multiple countries and lower cross-border barriers. Eligible UK-site sellers are advised to prepare early, pay attention to pilot requirements, and optimize logistics and tax arrangements to seize this wave of European market opportunities.
