The new rules clearly state that sellers are not allowed to advertise or promote stage 1 and stage 2 infant formula milk powder in any form of money or other means, prohibit inducing consumers to upgrade to buy stage 3 or stage 4 milk powder, and must not promote formula milk powder as equivalent or superior to breast milk substitute. Starting from May 8, all non-compliant products will be immediately banned or deleted; if the product is banned, the seller must complete the rectification within the prescribed time, otherwise the product will be deleted, and according to the seller's points system, up to 2 points will be deducted.
Seller's Home Review
This policy update for infant formula milk powder is directly related to the compliance access of sellers on the Singapore site. It is recommended that relevant sellers immediately self-inspect product packaging and marketing materials against the latest SIFECS Code of Ethics to ensure that rectification is completed before May 8, 2026, to avoid the risk of restricted listing.
