TikTok Shop Sets Black Friday Timeline; POP Merchants Must Complete Registration by October 31
AMZ123 Cross-border Newsletter2026-10-26

AMZ123 has learned that TikTok Shop’s US fall promotion has set key deadlines for merchants’ Black Friday inventory preparation and content reserves. In its campaign report, the platform clearly stated that cross-border POP merchants must complete Black Friday product registration by October 31, while fully managed merchants need to complete 90% of their US market stocking by the end of October. At the same time, merchants need to accelerate short-video, image-text submissions, and livestream launch testing to seize opportunities across Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Christmas, and sprint toward the peak of annual performance.

Data shows that the overseas warehouse model has proven its incremental potential in this fall promotion. GMV for products stocked in overseas warehouses grew 1.5 times compared with pre-campaign levels, and average daily GMV under the fully managed model grew more than 1.3 times compared with last year’s fall promotion. The content-driven segment performed especially well: average daily GMV for cross-border POP merchants grew nearly 2 times compared with last year’s fall promotion, livestream GMV grew more than 3 times, and short-video GMV grew 1.8 times. For sellers planning to participate in Black Friday, the registration and stocking windows are advancing simultaneously, leaving very limited time for last-minute adjustments.

Seller Home Review

TikTok Shop US Black Friday registration closes on October 31. Cross-border POP sellers should complete product submissions as soon as possible to avoid missing out on major promotion traffic. Overseas warehouse and livestream/short-video growth has been significant, so it is recommended to prioritize overseas warehouse stocking and increase content investment to capture peak-season dividends.
