Amazon US Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deal submission window extended to November 13

AMZ123 learned that Amazon, via its official seller forum account News_Amazon, has extended the deal sourcing window for 2026 Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday to November 13. The original deadline was October 20, giving sellers about 24 additional days for late submissions.

Note that only the submission window has been extended, not all promotion types or FBA inbound cutoffs. Eligibility and deadlines for specific deals such as Best Deals and Lightning Deals are still subject to the Deals page in Seller Central; Prime Exclusive Discounts (PED) can be viewed and created under "Advertising → Price Discounts → Create price discount → Select Events" in Seller Central.

Inventory deadlines have not been relaxed in parallel: for the US marketplace, peak-season inbound cutoffs remain October 14 for AWD shipments, October 21 for FBA minimal shipment splits, and October 28 for FBA Amazon-optimized shipment splits. Missing these cutoffs means timely inbound receiving and event participation cannot be guaranteed.

On fees, under the 2026 peak-season announcement, Best Deals, Lightning Deals, and Prime Exclusive Discounts each carry a $100 upfront fee per deal, plus a variable fee of 1.5% of promotional sales (capped at $5,000). Starting October 15, the holiday peak fulfillment fee period begins; peak-season rates average about $0.32 more per unit than non-peak rates, and the previously effective 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge continues to apply.

Amazon also clarified that promotional prices during the Prime Fall Deal Event on October 6-7 will not count toward the 30-day and 60-day lookback windows that affect the maximum deal price for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. For sellers, the extended submission window is only a late-submission opportunity, not an automatic operational exemption. Before submitting, sellers still need to review account health, deal eligibility, sellable inventory status, and profit estimates.

Seller Home Comment

The extended submission window offers a remedy for sellers who missed the first submission round, but FBA inbound cutoffs and fees remain unchanged. It is recommended to immediately review inventory and logistics schedules and prioritize timely inbound delivery rather than waiting for late submission.
