Anthropic has quietly added both Simplified and Traditional Chinese interface options to the web and desktop versions of Claude. Some users can already see the Chinese options directly in the language settings menu, and many accounts will even load the Chinese interface by default after opening.

Technically, this update only fully localized the product menus into Chinese. The company has not made an official announcement so far, and even the language settings documentation has not yet been updated with Chinese-related instructions.

Behind this is Anthropic's direct move to target the Chinese-speaking market. Currently, Singapore and Taiwan, China, among others, are already within Claude's service coverage, while mainland China has not yet been granted access.
