TikTok Shop has officially announced the launch of the "TOP Plan" for its cross-border POP (Merchant Self-Operated) model targeting the US market. The platform will invest hundreds of millions of resources to provide incentives and support for high-quality merchants throughout their growth cycle. It will also release a series of exclusive resources and core benefits for top-tier merchants to help them achieve rapid business startup and steady growth in the US market.
According to the official introduction, the key support targets of this plan are leading overseas brands, well-known distributors, and super top-tier merchants with annual sales reaching tens of millions of dollars. Under the special policy, merchants who complete the super top-tier identity verification will not only receive exclusive incentives throughout the cycle but also enjoy direct commission reduction benefits. At the same time, the platform will grant such merchants an official store label across the entire domain, providing them with additional brand exposure and traffic support in content recommendation, search, and mall display.
Among them, new merchants who complete the super top-tier merchant verification will have the opportunity to enjoy an additional up to 3% platform commission reduction within 60 days of joining. Merchants who meet the participation conditions can receive 1,000 free merchant short video materials to reduce the initial content creation costs of the brand.
At the same time, the platform has also upgraded its incentives for high-quality merchants and products, including product/mall support, content operation support, platform marketing incentives, governance, and logistics security in four major aspects. It also provides full growth cycle rights such as the New Merchant Plan and GMV Ranking Competition to comprehensively help merchants accelerate growth.
In terms of assisting high-quality product supply, TikTok Shop will provide subsidies for explosive product incubation and implement additional exposure support for eligible products covering content, mall, and advertising in multiple scenarios. To further optimize the business environment, TikTok Shop has also opened a dedicated green channel for logistics and governance for merchants participating in the "TOP Plan." This channel covers the entire link of store operation guarantee and logistics performance, aiming to enhance merchants' anti-risk capabilities in cross-border logistics.
In terms of content creation and traffic conversion, the platform has launched a creator content hosting feature for "super top-tier sellers" and strengthened the platform's matchmaking mechanism for merchant-deals cooperation, providing merchants with customized rights to short videos and graphic content. In addition, verified merchants will also have priority participation rights in six major brand marketing activities and platform promotional channels.
Besides targeted support for top sellers, TikTok Shop has also upgraded its incentive system for a wider range of high-quality merchants and products. In terms of operational support, TikTok Shop will focus on product mall support, content operation, platform marketing incentives, governance, and logistics security; while in terms of new merchant growth, in addition to full-cycle support, the platform also provides merchant rights such as "Growth Training Camp," striving to build a complete seller growth system.
