AMZ123 has learned that TikTok recently announced it will launch its Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping promotions in the U.S. market earlier, running from November 11 to November 30, 2026.

As the holiday shopping season approaches, TikTok said festive shopping content on the platform continues to heat up. In September 2026, content with the #holidayshopping hashtag grew 263% month over month. Nearly one-third of U.S. users are expected to buy gifts on TikTok on Black Friday, November 27 this year.

Looking at last year's major sales, TikTok Shop has already shown considerable sales scale. During the four-day promotion from Black Friday to Cyber Monday in 2025, platform sales exceeded $500 million. Over the same period, sales by sellers participating in livestreams rose 84% year over year, with more than 760,000 livestreams generating 1.6 billion views.

TikTok also disclosed that in the first half of 2026, livestream shopping sales on TikTok Shop in the U.S. more than doubled year over year. As livestream commerce plays an increasingly important role in the platform's e-commerce business, TikTok expects livestream shopping to further drive consumers from browsing content to making purchases this holiday shopping season.

To help brands capture holiday consumption trends, TikTok also released recent product search and sales data. The data shows that consumers are expanding their pre-holiday shopping range, with notable changes across categories such as luxury goods, jewelry, collectibles, gaming equipment, apparel, and beauty.

First, luxury gifts may become a major consumption highlight during this year's Black Friday and Cyber Monday period. TikTok said its platform users are 2.5 times more likely than average users to buy luxury items as gifts during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

In addition, search interest in jewelry has risen significantly. In September 2026, searches for gold jewelry on the platform grew 1,134% month over month, opal ring searches rose 825%, and friendship bracelet searches increased 120%. These figures reflect that consumers are searching early for jewelry and personalized gifts suitable for holiday giving.

Collectibles and toys are also drawing attention. TikTok data shows that in October 2026, sales of collectibles such as sports trading cards, coins, and action figures grew 230% year over year; in September, searches for foam dart toys rose 149% month over month. As consumers begin preparing holiday gifts, these items with collectible, entertainment, or social attributes are gaining more attention.

Gaming products have a fairly broad potential consumer base. TikTok said one in five U.S. users expects to buy gaming equipment or related products during this year's Black Friday and Cyber Monday. For sellers of gaming hardware, accessories, and peripherals, this means there are still sales opportunities worth seizing during the holiday promotion.

Apparel and beauty categories are also seeing clear seasonal demand. In September 2026, search interest for Christmas pajamas content on TikTok grew 297% month over month, while searches for fall manicure inspiration content rose 251% month over month.

Meanwhile, women's clothing has accounted for one-third of the platform's fashion category sales so far this year. These trends show that consumers not only search early for holiday outfits, but also get beauty inspiration from platform content and then make purchase decisions based on styles and products they are interested in.

In addition, TikTok Shop will launch exclusive products, bundled sets, and featured items in cooperation with brands and retailers during the holiday shopping season.

Overall, as the Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotion approaches, brands and sellers need to monitor consumer search trends, arrange product assortments and marketing content in advance, and prepare for delivery and after-sales service to convert holiday shopping demand into actual orders.
