AMZ123 has learned that Bain & Company predicts U.S. retailers' online sales during the four days from Black Friday to Cyber Monday will exceed $85 billion, up 8.75% year over year, about twice the expected 4.5% growth rate for the entire holiday shopping season, accounting for approximately 8.5% of total U.S. holiday retail sales. The share of consumers planning to place orders during these four days has risen from 64% last year to 70%, with 64% planning to shop on Black Friday, up from 55% last year; shopping intent for Cyber Monday rose from 41% to 44%.
Bain also noted that the year-end sprint period should not be overlooked. In 2025, six of the ten highest U.S. sales days are concentrated in the final two weekends before Christmas. In addition, Bain expects total U.S. holiday retail sales to surpass $1 trillion for the first time in 2026.
Seller Home Comment
Bain predicts that online sales during Black Friday and Cyber Monday will exceed $85 billion, and for cross-border sellers, the promotional traffic dividend still exists. It is recommended to optimize inventory and advertising placement in advance, focus on high-conversion categories, and seize the four-day window to boost peak-season performance.
